Ronny Lee would sustain minimal damage in the accident, but was able to continue. As the race reached its latter stages he was running in the third spot when disaster struck with just three laps remaining when a rear suspension failure forced him pitside to a disappointing eleventh place finish. Hollingsworth would endure a series of cautions and would eventually jump to a ten car length advantage before the race's final caution flew with six laps remaining in the 40 lap event. Heat race action would see Hollingsworth run away from the field on his way to the win, which locked him into the dash to determine the top ten starting spots for Saturday night's 100 lap finale. In the dash, Ronny Lee would finish sixth, which left him starting sixth for the feature.

Heavy afternoon rains on Saturday left the racing surface heavy and tacky. Early in the feature Ronny Lee would race his way as high as the sixth position before ducking into the pits during an early race caution. He would rejoin the tail of the field, and over the course of the remainder of the event he would race his way to a 12th place finish. Full results are available at www.WoOLMS.com.
